Hong Kong is a Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China. China extended the Hague Service Convention to Hong Kong by note dated June 10, 1997 from the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
