The government of Canada has an agreement with most provinces that allows the province to be more selective in choosing immigrants who wish to settle there. If you would like to immigrate to Canada as a Provincial Nominee, first decide what province you wish to immigrate to. Apply to that province, and they will consider your application based on their immigration needs, and your sincere intention to settle there. After a province has nominated you, you are required to apply to Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) for permanent residency.
Those who wish to immigrate to Canada as a Provincial Nominee must complete the provincial nominee process, which differs in each province. Contact the province you wish to immigrate to for further information.
