Consecutive Legal & Medical Interpreting
Consecutive interpreting is ideal for small group settings such as a legal deposition or a medical examination.
Here’s how it works: essentially all participants — including the interpreter — take turns speaking so that only one person is speaking at a time. One person speaks in language A, which the interpreter then renders into language B. Another person responds in language B, which the interpreter then renders back to language A.
At LLS, our experienced interpreters have both advanced language skills as well as in-depth knowledge of legal and/or medical terminology. Consecutive interpreting is available on-site or remotely, scheduled or on-demand.
